In this article we'll look at how you can control the default positioning of our Prompts and Messenger on your website.
First, of all you will need to go to the 'Settings' Section of your Salesfire Dashboard. Using the left-hand navigation, scroll down to 'Appearance' this will then open the Prompt/Messenger management screen. In just a few short clicks you can have your prompts & messenger on brand and ready to go.
As you can see there are a few different customisations that you will need to configure in order for your messenger & prompts to display as you would like.
First of all you can select the primary colour of your prompt/messenger and the text colour that you would like the tool to display. You can select pre-selected colours or use custom hex codes to match up the tool to your brand.
The next step is to select the logo that you would like to display at the top of your Messenger tool when it is opened. We would recommend uploading in an SVG or PNG format for best results. You can even upload two versions of your logo, one for use on the primary colour selected and one for use on white.
Moving down next to the Icon area of the personalisation are you can select how you would like your chat icon to appear in your messenger. You can either upload a logo to sit within your circle icon or can use the color selector and choose some initials to sit in the circle when you are using messenger.
If the Prompt bubble is covering a piece of your website which you would like your customers to see when landing on your homepage e.g. could be a 3rd party chat function. You can play about with the 'Position' area which allows you to move it (in px's) away from anything it may be obstructing. The 'Position' rule works on both X and Y axis so moves the prompt along and up at the same time. Just remember to click 'Save Settings' at the bottom of the page after each edit:
The 'Advanced' settings underneath this area comes as disabled as a default setting. You would only need to edit this area should any of your other Salesfire tools have been configured within your iframes.
