SMS unsubscribe and snoozing

The unsubscribe landing page will allow you to control the appearance of your unsubscribe SMS landing page.

Your unsubscribe landing pages allow subscribers to manage their communication preferences, temporarily pause SMSs, or fully opt out. Customising these pages ensures they reflect your brand and provide a clear, professional experience.

This guide explains how to edit:

  • Preferences page
  • Snooze confirm page
  • Unsubscribe confirm page


  1. Go to SMS from the Dashboard menu.
  2. Click the Unsubscribe tab.
  3. Select the page you want to edit, please note that default content will be populated to adhere with best practices for unsubscribe communications.

Preferences Page

The Preferences page is where subscribers can:

  • Update their SMS preferences
  • Temporarily snooze SMSs
  • Fully unsubscribe
What You Can Customise
Colour

Set your:

  • Primary colour (used for headers and buttons)
  • Text colour

Choose colours that match your brand guidelines for consistency.

Logo

Upload or update your brand logo to ensure subscribers recognise your business.

Content

Under Content, you can edit:

  • Header (e.g. “Update your preferences”)
  • Content section 1 (introductory explanation text)
  • Content section 2 (unsubscribe reassurance messaging)

Use this area to:

  • Explain what types of SMSs subscribers receive
  • Encourage preference updates instead of full unsubscribe
  • Reassure subscribers they can resubscribe anytime
Snooze Confirm Page

The Snooze confirm page appears after a subscriber chooses to pause SMSs (for example, 1 month, 3 months, or 6 months).

This page confirms that:

SMSs are temporarily paused
No promotions will be sent during the snooze period
SMSs will automatically resume when the snooze period ends

Under this tab, you can edit:

Colour
Logo
Content

Content Fields
  • Header (e.g. “Your SMSs are snoozed”)

Content message explaining:
SMSs are paused
Preferences are saved
When SMSs will resume

This is a great opportunity to reassure customers and maintain a positive relationship.

Unsubscribe Confirm Page

The Unsubscribe confirm page appears after a subscriber fully opts out of marketing SMSs.

This page confirms:

  • The unsubscribe request was successful
  • No further marketing SMSs will be sent
  • They can re-subscribe in the future if they choose

What You Can Customise

Under this tab, you can edit:

  • Colour
  • Logo
  • Content

Content Fields

  • Header (e.g. “You’ve been unsubscribed”)

Content message explaining:
They have successfully opted out
They can re-subscribe at any time
Contact options if it was a mistake

After making updates:

  1. Click Save settings
  2. Send yourself a test SMS

    Click the unsubscribe link to confirm:
    Branding displays correctly
    Content is accurate

Buttons function as expected
