Troubleshooting for Shopify

If your Shopify integration is not deploying to the checkout success page and not tracking orders you may need to complete a Checkout Extensibility upgrade. 

The Salesfire Shopify plugin is only compatible on sites using Checkout Extensibility. 

Newly created Shopify sites will use Checkout Extensibility by default but existing sites will need to upgrade by August 28, 2025.

The recommended solution to track orders without upgrading is to manually add the Salesfire script and via the thank you page. checkout.liquid for your site thank you page will not be supported within the Salesfire plugin and must be completed manually. 


Manually adding the Salesfire script

They can add our Salesfire script to their checkout success page, to do this:

  1. Log in to your Shopify dashboard.
  2. Select Settings, bottom left.
  3. Select Checkout using the left menu.
  4. Scroll to the field section Order Status Page. 
  5. Paste the Salesfire script tag in to the Additional script box:

  7. Select Save, located bottom right.
