Email attribution

The Salesfire attribution model is in line with industry standards for email, meaning conversions from your email campaigns are attributed through ‘opened and clicked’ actions by default.

If you would like to change this default settings, within your Salesfire dashboard menu:

  1. Select Settings.
  2. Select Email, within the Email Template section you will find a Settings icon

Within the Settings icon you will find the Conversion Attribution section.

Choose whether you'd like to attribute conversions to the most recent open and clicked email or the clicked email.

  • "Opened or clicked email" when selected for the campaign, will attribute conversions and revenue based on either open or clicks.
  • "Clicked email" when selected for the campaign, will attribute conversions and revenue based only on clicks.

Messaging attribution

Within any SMS campaign set up ensure when adding any links that the Automatically shorten links checkbox is ticked in order to track clicks on your campaign in your Salesfire dashboard analytics.

Tracking of clicks will not be available unless this option is ticketed prior to sending your SMS.

Please note open rate is not possible as a metric for SMS.
