Integrate your product feed to Salesfire through Magento 2 to start using Salesfire’s Search, Visually Similar Search and Recommendations solutions.
You will need to install our Magento 2 plugin before continuing with this guide.
Note: The feed will generate once a day at 1am.
Locating Salesfire settings
- Log in to your Magento store admin.
- Navigate to the Salesfire settings by selecting System then click Configuration, select Salesfire and go to General.
- Scroll down to the Product Feed section.
Completing settings
You will then need to set Enable to Yes and complete the following fields:
- Enable (Required) - Whether you want to generate the feed.
- Default brand (Optional) - This is used when there is no brand against the product or you have not set the Brand Attribute Code. You can leave this blank to specify a default brand.
- Brand Attribute Code (Recommended) - Choose which attribute denotes the product's brand. This can sometimes be the manufacturer.
- Gender Attribute Code (Recommended) - Choose which attribute denotes gender.
- Age Attribute Code (Recommended) - Choose which attribute denotes age group.
- Colour Attribute Code (Recommended) - Choose which attribute denotes colour.
- Additional Attribute Codes (Optional) - A comma-separated list of attribute codes to put in the feed. E.g: material, size.
