The Visitor Types condition

The Visitor Types condition allows you to target your visitors based on if they’re new or returning.

This condition works well to display more personalised campaigns to returning visitors. For example, a message saying ‘welcome back’ or ‘we’ve saved the items you loved last time’ in Digital Assistant’s Recently Viewed campaign.

To set your conditions, click Add Condition in the Finalise your campaign section of setting up your campaign. From here, click the green plus button next to the condition you would like to use.

Here you can choose whether you display to new or returning visitors. A returning visitor is classified as a user that has returned to your website within 30 days.
